At On Q, our goal is to make gifting easy and stress‑free. This Shipping Policy explains how gifting deliveries work when items are sourced and sent through our service.
1. How Shipping WorksOn Q does not operate a central warehouse.
Instead:
- Gifts are sourced from third‑party suppliers, often local to the recipient
- Shipping is arranged by the supplier or courier they use
- Delivery details vary depending on the gift selected and the location
This approach allows gifts to arrive faster and helps reduce shipping delays where possible.
2. Shipping TimeframesEstimated delivery times are provided where available but are not guaranteed.
Shipping timeframes may vary based on:
- Supplier processing time
- Gift availability
- Courier services
- Recipient location
- Public holidays or peak seasonal periods
We recommend setting up dates well in advance to allow for smooth delivery.
3. Shipping CostsShipping costs:
- May be included in the gift price
- May be charged separately depending on the supplier
- Will be disclosed before purchase confirmation where applicable
On Q does not control third‑party shipping fees but aims to select options that balance reliability and cost.
4. Delivery AddressesYou are responsible for providing:
- Accurate recipient names
- Correct delivery addresses
- Any special delivery instructions required
On Q is not responsible for missed or delayed deliveries caused by incorrect or incomplete address information.
5. Tracking InformationWhere tracking is provided by the supplier or courier, we will share this information with you when available.
Please note that not all local or boutique suppliers provide tracking updates.
6. Delays & Delivery IssuesWhile we aim to support timely delivery, delays can occur due to factors beyond our control, including:
- Courier delays
- Weather events
- Supplier processing issues
- High‑volume periods (e.g. Christmas, Valentine’s Day)
On Q cannot guarantee delivery dates but will make reasonable efforts to assist if issues arise.
7. Lost, Damaged, or Incorrect ItemsIf a gift arrives:
- Damaged
- Faulty
- Incorrect
Please contact us within 7 days of delivery with relevant details and photos where possible.
We will liaise with the supplier to resolve the issue in line with their policies and New Zealand consumer law.
Some suppliers may ship internationally. Availability and delivery times for international orders can vary significantly and may be subject to customs processes, duties, or taxes.
Any additional charges incurred are the responsibility of the purchaser.
9. No Direct Shipping by On QOn Q acts as a coordinating service and does not physically ship gifts itself. Shipping and delivery are fulfilled by third‑party providers.
